Monday mornings are not a time many of us look forward to.
When our weekend begins on a Friday, we get that Friday vibe, but Monday gives us a melancholy sensation that sometimes renders us unproductive, and we can't wait to get back to the weekend.
Growing up, most of us despised Mondays; math class was unavoidable on Mondays, lol.
It's strange how we continue our aversion to Mondays into adulthood. We usually find a way to rationalize our grouchy dispositions on Monday mornings.
This is referred to by psychologists as an emotional shift; no other part of the week has a transition like it.
The pleasure of spending a Sunday with family or friends is instantly contrasted with the obligation to get up early, wash and dress, and begin work or school. That sudden shift makes Monday seem like the worst day of the week, even if it's no different in terms of work than the rest of the week.
Whatever the case, the arrival of Monday is unavoidable. So why not make Mondays work for you instead of dragging you down and putting you in a bad mood?
5 Ways to Make Mondays Work for You
1. Do Some Work Out?
This may not be for everyone, but an early morning workout is essentially a natural cup of coffee that can increase your energy levels by 20% and generate happy endorphins to put you in a good mood. Along with physical stamina, you'll develop mental sharpness that will endure all day. According to research, doing exercise in the morning helps you feel more alert.
2. Dress to Kill the Day
Wear your favorite clothing or your most recent buy on Mondays. Because there is a direct relationship between how you feel and how you show yourself, looking nice will boost your confidence.

3. Treat Yourself to a Delicious Breakfast
It is, without a doubt, the most important meal of the day. Whether it's a quick smoothie, filling oatmeal, or jam on toast, get your metabolism going and avoid your stomach growling at 9.30 a.m.
4. Plan Your Week.
Knowing what you've got on is a great way to have a productive work week. So, to ensure optimum productivity, prioritize your duties and prepare a list of things you want to accomplish for the week first thing on Monday morning.
5. Listen to Good Music
Through compelling lyrics or good associations, music can rapidly improve your mood. So, before you succumb to the dread of Monday, listen to your favorite tunes on your commute or in between jobs.
6. Have lunch out, possibly with friends
You can break up your day by leaving the office for lunch, or you can arrange to meet a friend or family member at a restaurant or coffee shop. A change of location can be pleasant and helpful in clearing your mind.
7.?Do not live solely for the weekend.
Mondays can be difficult if all you do is wait for the weekend to return. Make enjoyable plans for the week to help break up the monotony and give you something to look forward to.
