How To Make Millions Giving Haircuts

So Why?

Out of a million means of making money, why did I choose "Giving Haircuts".

It’s quite simple my gleamy-eyed friend.

Ask any man, a haircut is the only extreme makeover needed to look all snazzy and sharp

These Bruddahs can agree with me

I'll rephrase,

A “GOOD” haircut is all the makeover a man needs. As a matter of fact, 8 out of 10 times a man is more loyal to his barber than his favourite sports team and quite possibly his Wife.

Yeah, You heard that right and that’s just how it is.

And it’s simply because good barbers are a scarce commodity, and even harder to keep in most cases due to high demand or stuff like having to move out.

During my Uni days I’ve had good barbers come and go, and then I’d spend another cycle having to keep my hair while on the hunt for the next top barber.

And in most cases I’d have to go through a series of bad or average-level barbers and honestly I always dread this period.

I still remember how my then-barber left me hanging. Damn! No words, No nothing.

I came to the store and Poof! just like that, he was gone and I had an important event to attend last minute.

Best believe that my hairline suffered at the hands of the next barber I tried out. I had to spend most of my time dodging cameras and making up excuses for why I didn’t want my picture taken. It was really that bad (hahahahaha, I can laugh about it now)

Now what I’m trying to establish with you is simply that “There’s a vast market of LOYAL men that will pay GOOD money for a GOOD haircut” and they’ll keep coming back as long as you keep your end of the bargain. Which is “ALways leave them looking sharp each time they get up that chair”

Skipping the chit chat, here’s how you can make millions by simply cutting hair:

Step 1: Get really really good at cutting hair – It’s important to understand that your success largely depends on your level of skill. Man, you have to be the kind of barber whose work speaks so much for itself that your clients can’t help but end up being complimented each time they get that cut, and that’s how you guarantee referrals will keep coming in. There’s really nothing like word-of-mouth marketing and referrals from past customers. So put in that work to become the best at what you do.

Step 2: Offer free haircuts at any community you belong to - ?Now assuming no one knows you, at least not yet. You still have a lot to prove and that’s what this step is all about. You need to show potential customers your mad skill. So go out to community centres, or the gym you belong to, or a local event center and offer to give free haircuts to anyone for a limited amount of time. We don’t need everyone to get the free haircut, the goal is to get just enough people to share the good news with others.

Step 3: Give every single customer the best haircut experience – Now that you’ve gotten them on the chair via your free haircut offer, it’s time to show them what you can do. Little things like carving or shaving mildly without leaving cuts and bruises are the key. From my personal experience it took me a while before I could consider letting any barber touch my beard area and that was because I found the edge of their clipper to be so sharp or their technique too rough and In the end I’d have lines all over my face indicating where the bruises were, which always left me looking as if I’d been in a cat fight with some chick. So pay attention to the little details and your customer. Every customer is different.

Step 4: Be reasonably priced – Now that you have that “Street Cred” it’s time to start getting paid for your service. But It’s important to not go overboard with your pricing. Practice patience and play the long game and then you'll certainly increase your price point with time as your client list increases. The perfect price point would be to start at the average price of a haircut, this way you are delivering more value at a familiar price which makes it a no-brainer for new referrals to try you.

Step 5: Increase your price - Now that you have that constant supply of customers and appointments it’s time to increase your price and get paid your worth. Try a 10% increase and then slowly build from there.

Step 6: Build a brand – This is the most important step in building a franchise and very crucial to your millionaire goal. When I say “Where can I get the best burgers in town” what’s the first brand that comes to your mind? it's Mcdonald's, right? Or Dominos for pizza, or Coldstones Creamery for the most delicious filling ice cream. That’s the kind of reaction you want bro! You need to be so good that your store is automatically associated with being the go-to place for the best cuts and You can achieve this by creating fun engaging content on social media. TikTok is a great place to start. You can Show things like everyday life in the shop, how-to videos, and BTS of customers getting haircuts at your store.

Step 7: Open up more stores progressively – As your brand grows you will find that at this point you do not have to be the one at the other end of the clipper cutting hairs anymore and you'll naturally find yourself taking up a more managerial role which is completely fine because growth is what we want. So Focus on managing your business and training the best employees because you have a reputation to maintain at all times. Remember, the goal is to be a millionaire. Focus on the prize.

Step 8: Hire a money guy or learn how to invest your money – I’d advise you start with the first option. Get a money guy but make sure to be actively involved and kept in the loop. You need to always know where your money is and what it’s being invested in. Make your research and don’t fall prey to a fancy well-dressed schmuck throwing around fancy money words any opportunity he gets. A great tip is to Involve a good lawyer in this step.

That’s it bro. If you follow these actionable steps you are well on your way to being rich and sipping mojitos on a beach somewhere.

Also, you'd finally be able to go around telling others how money isn’t everything (Hahahaha).

?

P.S. Do share this with anyone who would benefit from it, or love the read.

Thank you, Ben Out
