How To Make Million-Dollar Decisions!

There's only 3 places I ever look for answers in business.
And one of the biggest problems people have, especially when their business gets stuck at a plateau, is that they get these out of order, or they rely on just 1 or 2 of these places instead of combining all 3.
But we don't make any decisions in any of my companies, or in the companies I advise, unless we look at all 3 of these places first... in this particular order.?
And that's resulted in hundreds of millions of dollars of revenue.
So, anytime we need to make a big business decision, the very first place we go is to people who have already achieved what we want to achieve over and over and over again and who can advise us.
You will grow faster when you get advice from people who have already achieved what you want to achieve, not just once, because once is called luck.
Not even just twice; you need to look for people who have achieved what you want to achieve three, four, five times or more, because when those people share their experience with you or their contacts with you, you know you can bank on getting results.
The second place we look is, resources like a training program, or a book, or a video.
What you're looking for is to build your “internal knowledge base”, so you can better understand what your advisors are saying.
You could speak with somebody who's already achieved what you want to achieve multiple times, who’s going to help you shave years off your efforts, but if you don't have a certain amount of knowledge about what they're saying, it's easy to misunderstand what they're telling you to do.
So, when we’re looking to make a decision in any part of our business, the first place we look is to people who have already achieved what we want to achieve over and over and over again, and we make sure we read and go through training programs and watch videos so when we speak to smart people like that, we understand what they’re saying.
But one of the biggest problems that most entrepreneurs face is that they rely only on reading books.?
And because of that, they keep plateauing in their growth because there are no books, training programs, videos, or any other resources that could ever get you the result you're looking for, unless you're getting that information straight from somebody who's already done it over and over again.
Books and videos are important, but they should never be the source of why you make big decisions in business.
The third place we look for answers when we're making big decisions is our gut.
Again, this is not the first place you should go to.
I've spoken on stages around the world to hundreds of thousands of people, and after I get off stage, there's always people who want to talk,or pitch me ideas, and I love that, but there's always 1 or 2 people who say something like “I make all my decisions based on my gut”.
And those are always the people who just can’t seem to grow their business.
Your gut is one of the top 3 most important places you should look to make important decisions, but it should never be the first.
1. Surround yourself with great people who have already achieved what you want to achieve over and over and over again, and who are willing to stop what they're doing and talk with you once a week or once a month and hold you accountable to taking the right actions that they know will get you your results fast.
And they need to be willing to share their contacts, as well as their experience.?
They have to be willing to pull you up with them.
2. You need to be smart enough to understand what they're talking about, so you should be reading books and taking training programs now that will help you understand how to grow a business from 0 to 1 MM, or from 1 MM to 10 MM, or from 10 to 50, or from 50 to 100, or from 100 to a half-billion, and from a half-billion to a billion and more.
You need to understand the basics at every level, and you could learn that in books that smart people wrote, but your decisions should not be made just from what you learn in books or just on your gut.
You need to surround yourself with people who have already achieved what you want to achieve, and who are dedicated to helping you hit your targets.?
That’s always the #1 most important resource you should use.
Books and training programs are second to that, and the topics you study need to be focused on getting you from point A to point B as fast as possible.?
That way, when you talk with your advisors, you're smart enough to understand what they're saying.
3. AFTER you talk with your advisors, and you understand what they’re saying, then you sit back in silence, and you digest the information you have, and that’s when you follow your gut.
That's the formula for growing any business, in any industry, in any economy.
