How to Make a Homemade Face Mask

In these difficult times, everyday items seem to be off the shelf everywhere I go! ?? Who knew it would take a month to ship toilet paper, paper towels, and other essential items?! (never imagined this day???♀?) It has been a month since the President announced a quarantine and essential places like grocery stores, in many areas, are prohibiting anyone to enter without a mask. Of course, this isn't a N95 face mask, but any covering is better than none!??

To make a face mask, you're going to need:

• Cotton fabric (this can be a bandanna, t-shirt, towel, etc.)
• Elastic for your ears (Rubber bands, string, get creative with this one! I used a string from a bathing suit I no longer use)
• Something to attach the elastic to the material (Sewing kit, staples, fabric glue)
• Breathable material to place between the cotton fabric (I used a bra cup insert from a sports bra)
