As I navigate some of own physical health challenges, I wanted to share the transformative power of gratitude as a way to shift your mindset and energy to self-belief. It has been life-altering practice for me, and I believe it can be for you too.
Practicing gratitude is about appreciating what we have right now.
It can be as simple as a positive intention, a smile, or acknowledging those moments when things are going well. It's not about the big things, but the authentic appreciation of the small ones - observing how life works for you.
I shared this idea with a client struggling with catastrophic thinking and fears. She was suspicious but when I explained her the concept what it really is, and she started shifting her mindset and emotions by replacing negative thoughts with positive images and how important tool it was for shifting those anxieties we were working on, she started seeing it's power in practice.
For instance, if you're worried about your health, focus on how healthy you currently are. If you're worried about loved ones or work, cancel those thoughts and imagine positive outcomes. If you are completely hating your job right now, focus on finding the things that are good- so you can start getting yourself out of the negative loops and energy and motivation for your job search.
When I lead group coaching sessions, we often start with what’s going well in life and what participants can appreciate. By the end, the energy is high, and everyone feels completely different.

Practicing gratitude helps us focus on the positive aspects of life and see all the progress we make. It builds and maintains relationships, resulting in hope, life satisfaction, and proactive behaviors toward others. It shifts your moods and energy, activates heart coherence, love, and compassion.
Gratitude is not a general concept or religious practice. The magic lies in the details – feel what YOU are grateful for and shift your negative thoughts on the go.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on this! What are you grateful for today?
Much love, Jenni
