How to make a field mandatory in dynamics 365 F&O without Customization

I hope you all are doing well and enjoying the summer.

It sounds great when my client says, " Hi Salman I want to make this field mandatory." Once I ask them why?, they very simple answer me " You know it’s hard to remember every time what I need to fill during new purchase order creation or during Invoice process, errors of system seem a little bit frustrated to me, can you please make these fields mandatory with customization."?

Case:

In Today's case we will discuss how to make a field mandatory in Dynamics 365 F&O without customization.

To do this follow the simple steps shown below here.

Let us suppose we want to make the Known as Field mandatory in the Vendor form, to do this just follow the simple steps.

STEP 1:

Go to the relevant module open the page.

1. Simply right click on the Field in our case it is Known as Field of the Vendor form.
2. select the personalization option from the option below.

3. A pop will will appear click on the Required option.

4. Then click on the Close button from the following tab.

Now the Known as field on the vendor form is mandatory and you can see red check on it.

I hope in the above example the concept is very clear how to make any field mandatory in Dynamics 365 F&O without customization.
