How to Make $1.72m in 12 Months

As I'm writing this, it's 9:35 AM.
I did not set an alarm today. Today is all about content creation and software development.
I don't have any pressing activities on my calendar.
If I want to leave and go grab some breakfast for a few hours, I can. There are no repercussions for doing so.
Why?
Because I have spent the last four years building a business that gives me freedom.
When Tim Ferris talks about the 4 hour work week, I have to believe he imagined this.
There are about four hours of things I actually need to do. Everything else is optional.
One brand that I own (Twiz Marketing) made over $1.72m in 2021.
Another brand I just launched this year (AgencyGo) is currently making $10k to $16k per month.
If neither asset grows at all this year, the brand group will do over $2m in sales in 2022.
The best part? It's completed automated. I have key people in the right roles. They don't need me to manage these assets.
This has bought me my creative and financial freedom.
Now that I've earned this freedom -- freedom from work -- my goal is to help other entrepreneurs win that freedom.
Not by getting you to buy into some "get rich quick" scheme.
But, by following some strategic advice that anybody can execute.
The only thing that will buy you freedom quicker than me is, hard work, adherence to the strategies, and (if I'm being honest) a little bit of luck.
STEP #1: Identify the Right Opportunity
When I first started Twiz in 2018, I was on the hunt for the right opportunity, even if I didn't realize it.
See at the time, I was just selling as many people digital marketing services as I could.
I was trying to "make it" as an entrepreneur.
It wasn't until about 6 months in to my journey that I realized niching down on SEO marketing would be the cash cow that would propel Twiz to its first million.
If I were you, I would start your business with the right opportunity to begin with.
Even if it takes a month or two to figure it out.
Ideally, you want to launch your business with a plan.
Alex Hormozi calls the right opportunity finding arbitrage in the market.
In other words, a market inefficiency you can take advantage of and make a profit.
Buying discounted toys at a garage sale and flipping it on eBay with a 300% markup is the Gary Vee method of arbitrage in its purest form.
For a more scalable agency example, consider hiring top talent in the Philippines.

If you are in the United States, you are taking advantage of a currency imbalance.
And, there is nothing wrong with doing this because you can pay the people in the Philippines a TON for them while still making great margins in the states.
Not to mention people in the Philippines are just as awesome and talented as people in the states.
Step #2: Build an Automated System from Day 1
Most agency owners wait to build automated systems into their business.
This is a mistake.
Mainly because most agency owners forget that profit per hour is actually more important than revenue per hour.
When you are first scaling all you are going to want to do is see your topline revenue increase. But, once you finally do get past the seven figures mark, you are going to wish you were more profitable than you are.
You can see how I build automated systems with Zapier in this video tutorial I made recently.
You can also hit up Jordan Ross at 8FigureAgency.co since helping agency owners build automated systems is literally they do.
Step #3: Be Honest With Yourself. Do You Need a Co-Founder?
For those who think you can do everything yourself...the short answer is that you CAN.
This might not be the most conventional wisdom -- it seems nowadays everyone swears by having a co-founder from day one -- but it's true.
Why?
Because in my experience you'll eventually figure out how to run and automate a multi-million dollar business yourself.
However, it will be harder if you do it alone and you will (likely) make less money initially.
In short, from the 100+ agency owners I've interviewed, the biggest thing you'll lose from going it alone is TIME.
Point being.
If you want to run a completely automated $2m agency, you WILL be able to do this yourself, but if you care about speed you might want to partner up.
