How to make $10k a month with less than 1000 followers
I love ordering my groceries online.
No more impulse purchases.
No more lineups.
No more cart rage (you know what I mean….that moment when someone is parked right in the middle of the aisle, taking FOREVER, comparing prices of 10 different kinds of tomato sauce, as you’re trying to get by).
Online shopping is convenient AF.
And yet, there is one major downfall.
It is waaayyyy too easy to accidentally order 4L of vinegar (which may or may not have happened to me yesterday).
I tell myself…
“It’s the store’s fault. Clearly, no one would EVER want 4L of vinegar. Why the hell would they think I wanted 4L?! They’re trying to bamboozle me. Upsell me. The system is rigged!”
But that’s a story. And I know deep down. I just didn’t look clearly enough when I added vinegar to my grocery list. I chose 4L. Not them.
Our brains looks for excuses….aaallll the time. We blame anything and everyone else. When in reality, we’re the ones at fault.
THIS?! Is what personal trainers do all the time, when it comes to building a successful business.
They come up with every excuse in the book, as to why they’re not KILLING IT. Including (and especially):
- The market is saturated.
- I don’t have enough followers on social media.
Bullshit. These are stories. Lies!! And I can prove it.
Over the past few months….(during a world-wide pandemic!!)….two of my clients made over $10K a month, with less than 1000 follower on social media.
And here’s what they did:
- They got incredibly clear on exactly WHO they were talking to. THEN, they carefully created content that spoke directly to them, and their problems….continually tweaking their messagingto hit the mark.
- They reached out. Made connections and started conversations. They didn’t just sit back and wait for the “hot girl at the bar to walk up to them.” They engaged with meaningful conversations, and converted followers to paying clients.
- They followed through on promises by providing value all the way through the sales process.
- They helped their prospects see they had a problem, and helped them realize that THEY could be the ones to help solve it.
The market is not saturated. And you do not need a huge audience to have an impactful profitable business. You simply need to create great content that resonates with you ideal prospect, and communicate the value of what you do!
Oh. And you should probably also make sure you can deliver on your promises too.
