How To Maintain Your Direction in Uncertain Times

Hello, and welcome to the third part of this week’s series.

This time around we’re covering Integrity. 

One of the fundamental principles or values I work with is Integrity. 

To be able to stay on point long-term with your mission, with who you are, your relationships, is vital that you move forward from place of integrity. 

Now, a lot of people try to shortcut things and a lot of people try to bandaid the situation or patch a hole on the boat. But there's still a hole in the boat and damage.

So it's really important that you don't compromise who you are, for the sake of success, for the sake of saving relationship or for the sake of whatever it might be. 

Because if there's anywhere where you compromise, in the long term, all that stuff's going to fail anyway or you're going to face yet another needless drama in your life that you really don't want nor need to have.

You need to make choices from a place of integrity. And really where that comes from is vision. And I'm not talking about any random vision that you can pick up from somewhere in terms of those pictures we're talking about in the previous post. 

A core essence vision which means an authentic purpose that really drives you is key. Regardless of what shows up in your life, whatever obstacles you might face, regardless of whatever, whatever and whatever this will help you to really stay on point and navigate the challenges that you might face.

And when you start to tangibly take action that help you integrate that into your life, whether that be with your spouse, whether that be with a business partnership, or whatever dynamic that you are growing into, everything is going to test you on your integrity.

Everything seems to get combed through. Are all the i's dotted, t's crossed and everything to that effect.

And when you're compromising your integrity, everybody will pick up on that and they'll see it because you're being ultra scanned for everything that you do. And it's like, really, now there's something else missing there? 

This is often the sad truth of personal development and spiritual growth. And it’s super important for you to maintain your integrity with your core essence beyond pictures and programming because you’ll prolong the internal turmoil, lack of balance and the negativity in your life.

Anyway, you've got to be impeccable with your integrity, because you need to make solid choices for yourself that create solid ground. And you also cannot regret making choices from a place of integrity. 

Now, so how do you go about staying in a place of integrity?

When you have all this influence in your life about what's good? Other people’s opinions? What’s bad? What's your vision? 

This is what you should do with all those types of different influences. 

And one of the key factors here is believability. 

And so what you can do with believability is weigh it out. Does it really anchor true to you? You're the expert here in your space, in your life, right? So does it have a certain resonance or a certain truth for you? 

So if you're going to make a life decision on your personal intimate relationship, and you asked someone who is divorced, are you going to get the best advice? Or is it going to be biased… consciously or unconsciously?

So on our thoughts and feelings level that we talked about earlier in a previous post, it might be good for surface level answers. Underneath though, are all the pictures and programming scripts that are running in their space influencing their advice.

So the point here is to really check in and one of the areas you can use to scan things is to put on the lens that comes from from your vision.

You really need to be able to see in yourself, the piece you are working on, to be believable to you. And you need to be able to also match it up with your direction in the situation, matching with what you’re wanting to create. 

And this brings the point of the next piece here is around what is emerging inside of you. 

So there's something emerging inside of you that you may not know what it is yet. And that's fine. There's nothing wrong with that. 

But there's something emerging. There's something that's got to change. Something is off. There's this new direction, there's a new sense of balance, whatever, there's something deep inside that's emerging from you. 

And in through this whole process, you get a lot of impact about what you should or shouldn't do with your life. No, you shouldn't end that relationship. Oh, you should keep it. What about the kids? What about this? Oh, you shouldn't drop that company. You shouldn't do this. Whatever, whenever, pouring in from all this external influence. 

As well when you're emerging and getting into this new vibe, it's like you've been driving a smart car for a little while, a little two seater car. Then you're moving into a Tesla truck. 

So when you've been parking in a smart car, it's pretty easy, you just parallel park. Super super easy. Tesla trucks are a little bit bigger, it's a little bit harder, you can hit the curbs, you might bump into another car. I don't know though the tech is pretty good on them. So you might not. 

But point being is it's a larger vehicle, and it's much harder to park. Your boundaries are going to be wobbly. You're going to make mistakes. You’re going to drop the ball. You're going to do different things.

Ultimately though, what's important is your connection to what is emerging.

And when you have a clear vision in place, and you're learning how to live outside of those pictures, you're not being informed by these pictures and being strengthened by your core.

And if you're being informed by your core essence, those mistakes, those balls being dropped are less likely to happen because you're in a place of congruence and integrity with what you're wanting to create and where you're going and the direction you're taking. 

Now, if you have a heavy influence around you, like say, a boss, or someone trying to micro manage your life, this constant chatter, even if they're not physically there, can still be stuck in your head.

There's a way that you're hyper easily influenced by that without even really realizing it. 

This is why compromising your integrity is a major downfall. 

So it's really important that you be critical with your integrity. This is in terms of holding your boundaries, holding your space and how you apply yourself in your life and in your world.

Now, a lot of people, as you change can also project onto you. It can be simple enough with, this is ‘the you that I know’ and just frame you in that perspective.

But if it’s really toxic behaviour it’ll attempt to rope you in and if that doesn’t work they will rope others into it. And if that is the case what transpires from that will be a concoction of their pictures with the people they are trying to rope in. It can be a big drama.

Just another reason why it is critical to maintain your integrity.

So to deepen your integrity in relation to any influence that comes from outside of you. We need to go deeper. Just like tree roots going deeper into the ground.

Right now, in this series, we’re about halfway down to the depths of you with addressing scripts, pictures, programming and different things like that. 

Getting to this depth may work well for you. And that's fine. What this will cause is mediocrity and not ultimate life mastery.

But if you really want to take it to the next level, maybe standout and really have that impact and tap into that drive that's deep inside of you emerging is that you really need to live outside of those scripts, or basically live outside the box.

This is what people refer to as a box… these pictures. You need to think outside the box. And integrity is what pulls you out of there. 

Because integrity brings you into your core essence, you can transform how you are operating, the thoughts and the feelings and everything like that. 

To define integrity more clearly, it means having your integrity without compromising your core. And it just feels good. And you feel really great about your life, when you have integrity in place which allows you to really stand tall and move forward with solid ground. 

To recap, you need to get clear on your mission and your vision from a place of your core essence.

Because I'm sure there's lots of people out there that have had a lot of influence on your mission and your vision and what direction you should go. 

And if you're spinning your wheels, you're not being able to manage your time or your energy and your emotions well, chances are you've got a lot of stuff compromising your integrity. 

These are all cues that you are.

To solve this, you basically need to do a full internal house clean, if you will, in terms of that integrity. And in the longer term it is going to be a great. It's going to create a lot of success for you in the short term as well. 

To start, it might be a little bit of a learning curve with some growing pains as you go through this particular piece. But integrity bar none is the gold standard. 

The gold standard for what it is we all want to see in our world, the change in terms of peace, the change in terms of our climate, the change in terms of our pollution and everything to that effect. 

Integrity is the baseline of it all. And you ultimately need to come from a place of integrity. 

So what does integrity mean to you? How do you go forward from place of integrity? And how do you stay true to your mission and vision? And do you want to do that?

Some honest questions to ask yourself.
