How #Madeofgreat campaign by TATA Motors is going to be activated.

After attending Social Media Week 2015 in Mumbai.

Lionel Messi is global brand ambassador for Tata Motors. 

The company has signed-up the four-time winner of the best football player of the world award and Argentina captain as global brand ambassador to promote and endorse passenger vehicles, globally.

In Social Media Week Mumbai 2015.Delna Avari(Head of Marketing & Services, TATA Motors) explained how Tata is going to activate Brand Messi around the world, but specially start a campaign from India.  

Here are 3 Key activation programs

1. Promoting Personality

  Tata Motors are pioneers in India's Automobile industry. "Trust" is a great brand value tata has maintined in India. This time tata is going to promote themselves through a personality like Messi, "Through this powerful campaign we will communicate the values and ethos of the passenger vehicle business," Mayank Pareek , Tata Motors President.

2. Target

  Tata is going to engage youth audiences , as Messi connects with youth. #MadeofGreat Campagins have started successfully on social media & print media. 

3. Programs 

Delna Avari said , Football is world famous game. Messi signed Tata motors for a 2 year comtract and which can be extended. The marketing team is planning to measure there brand and activation campaign every 6 months. The programs will include activation in shopping outlets , malls , merchandising , Tata employee engagement with the brand ambassador and special efforts are been taken on International Auto Expo.This is the first time ever that the company's passenger vehicle business will be undertaking an overall brand association campaign  'What drives us from within is what makes us great', with a brand ambassador.
