How to Love What Is

A Moment of Clarity to Improve Your Day

Clarity Quote

“As long as you think that the cause of your problem is “out there”—as long as you think that anyone or anything is responsible for your suffering—the situation is hopeless. It means that you are forever in the role of victim, that you’re suffering in paradise.”

One of my digital sketches reflects on our self-reflection.

A Moment of Clarity for Today

How can we willingly and lovingly accept the challenges we face today?

The opportunity at hand is to practice loving what is.

All of it.

Accepting the good, bad, and wicked bad is almost impossible.

But given a will, there’s a way that begins with practicing daily.

The Gateway to Unconditional Love

Acceptance is one of the gateways to unconditional love.

Compassion is the cousin of acceptance. Together, they make love.

We all know people who place blame on external factors and create a sense of hopelessness by seeing themselves as victims with no control, accepting their state of mind as it is.

Sometimes, we see that in ourselves when we look in the mirror. Either way, when we take personal responsibility for everything we experience in the school of life, we become willing, open, and more honest students.

Why argue with reality?

Acceptance, compassion, and unconditional love for what is the path of least resistance.

When we improve ourselves, we improve the world.

Daily Commitment

How can you practice “meeting everyone where they are” and loving them just as they might be, even if they seem like a real pain in the neck?
