Job Title:?Production Engineer

Location:?Midland, Tx

  • Must reside in commutable distance of Midland, Tx.?(This is an?Onsite?role, Remote & Hybrid work is not available.)

The?Production Engineer?will work as a key member of the asset development team and is responsible for monitoring and evaluating well systems in order to maximize the production and operations of oil and gas products. The incumbent is responsible for managing daily engineering and production activities, while also ensuring the quality and safety of the project and controlling associated costs.

Essential Job Functions

  • Perform analysis on wells to ensure efficient and optimal production performance
  • Provide consulting around artificial lifts and production optimization
  • Identify workover needs and implements designs and oversees the execution of workover plan
  • Participate in LOE and Production Reviews and budget preparation
  • Coordinate with other personnel, such as geoscientists, engineers, superintendents, foreman regarding production concerns
  • Conduct in-depth economic analyses in order to support business decisions and control costs
  • Coordinate with reservoir, geological, and midstream teams to design full scale asset development plans
  • Other tasks as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (Competencies)

  • Working knowledge of production optimization concepts and applications
  • Practical knowledge of unconventional/conventional resource plays
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and presentation skills required
  • Ability to make technically and economically sound recommendations required
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are necessary
  • Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to work independently
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task with attention to accuracy
  • Team player that possess the ability to adapt to a changing and fast paced work environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point)

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field required
  • A minimum of 3 years related experience is required for this position.

10% - 15% Travel will be required for mandatory meetings, training and visits to field locations.
