How long it takes to go through the process of Discovery and Launch within a franchise system?

Have you ever wondered how long it takes to go through the process of Discovery and launch within a franchise system? Well, here's a quick guide to how we take candidates through our process so that you have a sense of when you need to engage us based on when you want to launch and be operational in your market. 

If you add up all the phases, it's a 2 - 3-month process. So if you are looking to join a brand and benefit from our busy summer months, then it's virtually time to look at opportunities now!

Here are the details:

Discovery call: During this call, we find out more about you, what you are looking for, and if there is a fit with our brand. We share more about our business, our brand, systems and support. 1-day

If we both (Franchisor and Franchise Candidate) feel that there is a fit we take you through the disclosure phase, which includes:

• Disclosing you by sending you our FDD (Franchise Disclosure Document) and we enter into a 14-day disclosure/discovery phase
• Within the disclosure, we discuss territory, pricing, business planning, validation calls with some of our current Franchise Partners etc. and you have time to review the FDD carefully.

Once all parties have agreed to the Franchise Agreement and both, feel that this is the right business decision for the brand and each party, we complete the franchise agreement, it's signed and funded 2-4 days

So we are now at approx 3 weeks if everything goes perfectly to plan

You are now a Franchise Partner, and you enter the Business Launch Process.

The launch is generally 6-8 weeks with our handyman business. It includes taking you through incorporation, bank accounts, insurance, branding, training, business planning to essentially opening for business and being 100% ready for success on day one with everything in place.
