How Long Will It Take?

We’re in May 2023.?
Your March 2020 memories are over 150 weeks old.
More than 1,000 days old.
It feels like a lifetime ago, but it doesn’t.
It almost feels like yesterday, but it’s not.
Your perception of time is skewed.
It’s skewed because of the actions you didn’t take.
How long will it take?
This is the most common question I get.
I hate to break it to you, but you have a long way to go.
Literally and metaphorically.
I shared in detail my story of making my first online dollar in 12 months.
But that’s not the ultimate goal.
The ultimate goal is freedom.
If you were to instantly travel anywhere and afford everything you’ve ever wanted, wouldn’t you do whatever it takes to get there?
That’s why you Brand Yourself To Freedom.?
Every freedom there is, will be yours:
1. Location Freedom:
You are to have the ability to work from wherever you want in the world.
2. Financial Freedom:
You are not to be limited by a monthly salary as you build more streams of income.
3. Time Freedom:
You are not be constrained by certain hours, days or weeks of work every year.
4. Opinion Freedom:
You are to be taken seriously when sharing your opinions, without hurting your brand.
5. Brand Freedom:
You are to always have the ability to change your brand direction, and rebrand if needed.
Sounds like a good deal yea? I’d say so...
And no..I'm not there yet, but I'm very much on the way!
I know everyone wants to make it, but in reality, not many will.
Just see how many quit after a few weeks.
Most overestimate what they can do in a day, but underestimate what they can do in a year.
We are all wired to want something NOW.?
If you are impatient with the actions, you must be patient with your results.
“How To Do X in Y Days” is ruining lives.
If that ultimate freedom required 3-5 years of sacrifice...
Would you still do it?
I know I would!
It will take over 1,000 days!
3 years is over 1,000 days! Think about your last 1,000...
How much have you done??
How many places have you seen?
How frequently have you tried a new diet?
How often have you changed collogues and roles?
A lot can happen in a 1,000 days...
But also a little!
The longest player in the arena!
It’s not the best player that wins, the the longest player in the arena.
The longest player is, by default, the best player.
The point I’m making??
So next time, don't ask yourself “How long will it take?”
Ask instead “How bad do you want it?”
