HOW LONG WILL COVID-19 LAST IN INDIA?

Yes!! This question has left an impact on every citizen of our nation. Amidst the ongoing situation, India has crossed many cases to date, and still, the graph continues to rise.

As per the World Health Organisation, the first case of Corona Virus symptoms was found in a 20 years old female in Thrissur District, Kerala, India on January 27, 2020. During her casualty, it was found that she was having mild symptoms of sore throat and dry cough but no fever or any other symptoms were detected during the COVID-19 test. As per the Global media, the first human cases of this deadly virus were officially reported in Wuhan City, China in December 2019. The COVID-19 spreads through discharge from the nose or through droplets of saliva. This Virus is also spreading by touching a contaminated surface.

The Pandemic has changed everyone’s lives. India Imposed total lockdown, arguably the most stringent, from March 24, 2020, till April 14, 2020. That was a 21 days shutdown in the nation. Lockdown took place due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the country. Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi has enforced a One Day 24 hours Lockdown on March 19, 2020, to curb the rising cases of COVID-19. People have suffered a lot during this pandemic. Poor people were dying due to the non-availability of food in the market. People in a cue for the gas cylinder as there was home delivery was been stopped by the government.

Human Beings in general or considered collectively can be infected by the coronavirus. People with a history of asthma/Diabetes/Blood pressure or older people should protect themselves from getting affected. The WHO pieces of advice wash your hands with soap or using an alcohol-based hand rub. As we touch surfaces while traveling to offices/schools/shops/other public places, so one should avoid touching their eyes, nose, and mouth. 

The World Health Organisation Government of India has launched the largest COVID-19 vaccination drive in the world. On 28 March 2021, due to a sudden increase in the number of cases of the deadly virus, Maharashtra CM made a statement of a Night-curfew from 8:00 pm to 7:00 am.

Gyms & Other Activities are shut due to rise in COVID-19 cases

Although theatres, malls, gyms are closed, on the other hand, the entertainment industry is permitted for their shootings and has been asked to follow the precautionary measures. Followed to the same, there has been a nod to e-commerce and industrial transactions, construction, and agriculture. Also, it has been no new restrictions on flights and trains, but public transport will have a capacity of 50% and infringements will be fined. The manufacturing industry, including industries that depend on oxygen, was asked to reduce its operations to direct oxygen to hospitals. 

According to the Minister of Health of Maharashtra, Mr. Rajesh Tope said, To keep everyone home, the transmission chain is broken, we want a complete lockdown on weekends. Our slogan is to break the chain and stop the infection from spreading further.

Mumbai roads are empty due to Second wave of COVID

The proposed lockdown would be more rigid than the existing one. In April 2021 India has recorded 2 lakhs cases which is the highest single-day spike in the whole world, people should understand the gravity of the situation we are in currently Government is requesting the public to deliver masks and sanitizers while going out and take precautions in any other case it may be disastrous. COVID-19 vaccines play an important and vital role in this pandemic. Vaccines are intended to have immunity without the risk of contracting the disease.
