How Long Can I Keep This Pace Up?

How Long Can I Keep This Pace Up?

In my work coaching entrepreneurs, founders, and business leaders, one of the recurring topics that I hear is some version of this question: “How long can I keep this pace up?” “I’m struggling to keep all the balls in the air, and I know some are dropping. How long can I keep this up?” “I don’t have enough time to do everything that needs to be done. I feel like I’m drowning, and there’s no end in sight.”

Can you relate??

Overwhelm is real. And too many leaders are operating in the red zone. They’ve been revving their engines so much, for so long, that they don’t know how to slow down. This is the fast path to burnout. And I watch too many entrepreneurs and founders who never hit the levels they could because they burn out.?

Are you building your business, your agency, or your leadership in such a way that it facilitates the life that you want to live? Or are you working way too many hours, apologizing frequently to the people who matter most to you, and thinking “one day I’ll have time for them, for what matters most, to build the life I want.”?

David Green, the founder of Hobby Lobby, once observed, “If we’re not careful, we can spend our lives building things that just don’t matter.”

That doesn’t have to be your life. There’s another way.

What if you could develop a healthy, sustainable pace? What if you could have what David Allen calls a “mind like water,” where you neither overreact nor underreact to what’s happening in your life or in your business? What if you ran at a pace that you could sustain?

It’s possible. I’ve helped more leaders than I can count to do this over the last 25+ years. It’s just a matter of the right mindset and the right systems. And I can help you with both.?

I want to see entrepreneurs THRIVE. I want to see founders THRIVE. I want to see business leaders THRIVE. Because when they do, it doesn’t just affect them. It positively impacts the people they lead on their team. If they’re married, it positively impacts their spouse. If they have kids, it positively impacts their kids. A healthy, sustainable pace and a strong mindset can be something you model and offer to share with the next generation.?

You don’t have to keep feeling like you’re drowning. You don’t have to just keep juggling more and more things. You don’t have to run headlong into burnout.?

I can help.?

This is why I coach leaders. I help them move from where they are to where they want to be. Legendary football coach Tom Landry once said, “A coach is someone who tells you what you don't want to hear, who has you see what you don't want to see, so you can be who you have always known you could be.

That’s what I want for my clients. That’s what I help them to build.
