Before running out to grab a few EV charging stations to install/offer in your new build, there are some things you should know. And the first one is, what is the electrical load capacity of your building?
In preparation for the May introduction of the Toronto Green Standard’s (TSG) Version 4, it’s time to discuss the electrical load capacity of your build and how you plan to handle EV charging stations. This latest version of the TSG will impact all new building applications submitted on or after May 1st.

Keeping costs in mind, the Zero Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Program (ZEVIP) is currently accepting applications for funding EV charging stations in public places, on-street, MURBs, and workplaces. That leaves only a few more weeks to submit a funding application under the existing V3 framework.
