How to Leverage Yourself as the CEO + A Free Template To Align Your Teams Roles and Responsibilities
I took a client through an exercise this week to create a #roles and #responsibilities document for their #company .
He was looking to hire a new position, but before he could do that, it was important that we sit down and brainstorm the Roles and Responsibilities first.
We got to his role as a #ceo and he listed the below items as things he felt was his responsibility as the CEO of his company and most importantly what he wanted to be doing.
But before we go into that, let's talk about the things that were taking his time just months ago before he got out of the day to day #operations ...
Here are the things he wants to be doing as a highly leveraged CEO...
All amazing things for a CEO to refocus their energy on, but it doesn't stop there. The actionable items are not clearly defined.
How do you do employee development?
When will you sit and blog and what will it be about?
It's not just as simple to list a bunch of things you want to focus on as the leader of your company you must think about the actions that will make it reality.
The funny thing is, after this exercise, I realized I was struggling with how to further step into the CEO role myself.
What does this new schedule look like?

How do I ensure I continue to drive the business forward even when I am not contributing in the deliverables and #sales ?
I have helped many clients through this process, but was truly experiencing it myself for the first time. I had finally made it to the CEO position, but I had never thought on how to be the best in that position.
So, I came up with a game plan on how to reallocate my time into actionable and measurable and wanted to share it with you.
