Here are my easy tips to level up your LinkedIn profile in 2023.
Make your headline more than just a job title
If you are looking to attract the right attention to your profile, use the headline field to say a bit more about what you do. My job title is 'Partner' but that doesn't tell you an awful lot about what I do! My headline does...

Turn your summary into your story
Your summary is “the back of a book”. Before you buy a book, you turn it over and look at the summary - it is designed to excite you, inform you and to make you keep reading and finally make a purchase. In other words, exactly like a hiring manager or recruiter looking at your LinkedIn profile. Your summary is your chance to tell your own story – so don’t just use it to list your skills or the job titles you’ve had. Bring it to life, entice people into your world, tell them how your make a difference - This is your most personal piece of content marketing – and it’s worth the effort.
Turn on Creator mode
Creator mode is a profile setting that can help you grow your reach and influence on LinkedIn. Turn on creator mode to get access to additional tools and features that help you create content and grow your audience base on LinkedIn.

Add a link to your website
Some interims and consultants have a website that showcases their experience and track record. If you do, you can add a link to your profile. It appears at the top of your profile page. A great way to drive traffic to your website. To add, click on edit and scroll to the bottom where is says add website info.
Request recommendations
Recommendations are personal testimonials written to illustrate the experience of working with you. There’s a handy drop-down menu in the Recommendations section of your profile that makes it easy to reach out to specific contacts and request recommendations. Take the time to think about who you would most value a recommendation from – and personalise your request.
And my last tip, always like and respond to comments! This will always boost your profile to a wider audience and get you noticed.
