6 个月Anna Morgan really like the note on continual learning. I see so many in the recruiting/staffing industry as well as other industries that stop learning and stop enhancing their skills. They become stagnant. Any potential employer is going to want to know you are curious, open minded, and stay current with the times in terms of technology and industry specific knowledge. Also, learning and challenging ourselves can be so fun and rewarding! Learning isn't a destination it is a lifelong journey! It provides value to you and an employer.

6 个月Yes! I hear it all too often. Recruiters don’t know how to step outside the frame. They are too “in the picture”. I just wrote about this ?? https://www.dhirubhai.net/posts/tabtherecruiter_tabtherecruiter-transferableskills-jobsearch-activity-7189375165384773632-WV7c?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_ios

6 个月Professional development seems to be a HOT topic these days! One of my favorite ways to do this is by attending industry events, and reading industry specific books. However, lately I've been feeling the pull to consider additional learning. Strongly thinking about going to get my PHR, because I feel the lines get SO blurred between HR and Talent. For people just getting into recruiting there are so many more resources available to get "certified" as a Recruiter. That didn't exist when I started in this game! LOL #careerbff
