How to leave the best possible impression, and set yourself up for success with your clients?

We work so hard through the process of getting our clients to the closing table, it is important to finish on a positive note. Our customers typically only remember the last thing that we do with them – therefore it is always important to end on a good note.

Follow these few steps below to set yourself up for success with your clients during and after the closing process.

  • Although you can’t please everyone every time it is important to always “die trying”. Always ask your client if there is anything else that you can do for them to make their experience better. If you can make their experience better – always make sure to do so.
  • ?After the transaction is complete – send a thoughtful handwritten thank you card. Believe it or not this goes a long way.
  • Follow up at the time of closing / funding, and make sure that all of their needs and expectations are met. If they are not met, do everything that you can to meet their expectations.
  • Check in from time to time with your clients and see if there is anything else that you can help them with. This will show your clients that you are not transactional, and you are truly there for them for the long term.

When you pride yourself on customer service, and the customer experience you will have a long and fruitful career.
