How to Learn English as a Second Language faster.

So many clients join Be Dynamic for coaching and their number one question is... What can I do to improve my English?

The good news is that there is plenty that a Business English coach can take you through to improve your English, but the bad news is that it won't be simple or easy.

We've learnt that there are already tons of materials out there, plenty of people who teach English and many many You Tube videos. So why do clients come to us with the same question after trying these teachers and materials? Why don't they have any lasting improvement after watching hours of YouTube videos?

Here are a few guidelines that can help guide you on your journey.

1. Make a plan. If you have no plan, you plan to fail. Plan when you will study and how.
2. Limit the sources you learn from. I know this advice sounds strange, but too many resources simply pull you in too many directions. Think about it. If you want to be a better electrician, do you listen to podcasts about plumbing and attend workshops about gas fitting? No. You specialize and focus on seminars about solar panels, EV's and diplomas in cable management. It's the same when you study English. If you have too many teachers, too many books and too many topics, it's nearly impossible to make any meaningful progress.
3. Have an accountability partner. If you have no deadlines then there is no pressure to work. Life can be hectic. You already work long hours - so when to do you study? We've noticed that the commitment of regular meetings is part of the secret to improving. You've committed your money, you've agreed to a set time so now you need to show up. This can completely transform how you progress.
