_____________
Not surprisingly, I think about (and study) leadership a lot - so I love when I get to connect with people who open my eyes to an entirely new perspective on how to lead effectively.?
My conversation with Patience Ogunbona, Executive Career and Leadership Coach, was all about courageous leadership - something I hadn’t really thought too much about before.
Prior to our talk, I may have assumed that being a courageous leader was all about taking risks and, of course, taking the lead on difficult conversations that will improve business.
Patience helped me see that it’s really about releasing self-limiting beliefs and having the courage to trust and empower others to step-up as well.
Most importantly, she challenges the ideas that leadership is limited to extroverts or dominant personalities and reiterates the fact that ANYBODY can lead.?
As an introvert who felt the need to adopt extrovert qualities in order to “succeed”, I felt this deeply.
I’m grateful to my friend Patience for joining the podcast and sharing her thought. This is an incredible episode for anybody looking to step into their leadership potential or build stronger, higher-performing teams.?

1 年I'm an extrovert and did not really care for the open concept in an office. When we had cubes with taller walls it was still open as they have no ceiling which was fine with me. You could still hear eveything going on around you but not so "in your face".
