How to know when it is time for a change!

How to know when it is time for a change

Been sat in the office or at home recently staring at the screen of your computer or resetting the Wi-Fi for the 4th time that day because the Zoom meeting has crashed again, wondering when the weekend is coming and when you can forget all about work?

Watching false promises or opportunities never materialise, being passed up for promotion or not offered training even though you’ve done everything right and the work you produce isn’t being rewarded?

Or simply tired of working in the same sector with uninspired projects, a poor pipeline, and limited resources?

All of the above are signs that it’s time to move on and explore new opportunities. After all, moving on is part of life and it’s no different in the MS Dynamics industry. An important part of any CRM professionals career is seeking new opportunities and gaining invaluable experience with several different companies and projects.?

Whether you want to work for the largest Global MS Partners or the smallest End User then the following is signs that it’s time to look for that next step:

1.??????Wanting to gain further exposure on the newest MS Technologies but there simply isn’t the infrastructure in place with your current company to support this.

2.??????A poor pipeline of projects with limited resources meaning you are working on projects that are not suitable or your being hindered by poor planning.

3.??????A lack of training or clear progression, turning up to work and being seen as nothing more than just another face or number.

4.??????A Partner/consultancy that has recently undergone a merger and are putting you into areas which don’t align to your knowledge and skill set, or even worse a company preparing to sell who are rapidly hiring with the knowledge that redundancies will be made as soon as the acquisition is made.

5.??????Not seeing your experience and skills be rewarded, finding your salary stagnated and your skills being undervalued. Being promised a pay-rise that isn’t materialising .

If you have been sat there thinking maybe it’s time, I explored my options or if this post has inspired you to take that next step then why wait, there is no time like the present.

In the current market candidates are seeing rises in salaries between 10 and 20% when taking the next step.

Looking for new opportunities can be daunting, it can be difficult to keep track, get the salary you deserve or even find the time to go through all the steps involved in an application process. This is when you need to work with someone who has excellent knowledge of the market, whose sole focus is finding candidates the right opportunity.?
