When I work with business leaders and founders who express severe doubts about their current project's purpose more than 5 sessions in a row, I know it is time to make a change at the core.
Because everyone A-Player hates to quit, how do you when to move on from your project or business?
Track your energy.
- What moments in the past 3 months were an indication that the problem you are solving is important enough while having enough resources to pull it through in a reasonable time frame?
- Why did this event show you a clear picture of future success or was it just a bump of energy sadly short lived?
- Who in your team can clearly articulate the impact your solution will have on the end beneficiary you are trying to serve while making sound business sense?
- When in the next week will you have a clear sit down with yourself every day to identify on a scale of 1 to 10 how energized you are to take on the many challenges ahead?
- How will you take a few days break to clear your head if the result of #4 is less than 5 on more than 5 days?
If you are doubting your current project is worth it, ping me.
