How to know when Home Assistant was last restarted

Hi guys,

Home Assistant is the heart of our home automation so it could be useful knowing when it was last restarted.

Software configuration

  1. Home Assistant. I'm currently running version?2022.9.5.
  2. Uptime integration configured in Home Assistant. This integration provides the entity sensor.uptime which includes the date and time (UTC time) when Home Assistant was last restarted.

Home Assistant code (yaml) / steps

This is the procedure you have to follow in order to add the Uptime integration to?Home Assistant:

  • Browse the menù?Settings->Devices & Services
  • Click the button?ADD Integration
  • Search and select?Uptime

The following form is displayed:

  • Click on Submit to confirm

  • Click on Finish to confirm (the area field is not mandatory).

As soon as the camera has been correctly configured, the new entity sensor.uptime will become available and ready to be added to your?Home Assistant?dashboard.
