How To Kill Pipeline Cloggers

When I look at a sales person's funnel I can instantly tell if they are being judicious with their time or wasting it on zombie leads.

Because you are only as valuable as the reality of your pipeline, how do you kill pipeline cloggers that keep promising they will come through?

Set a breakup deadline for your leads.

  1. What is the deadline for each of your engagement letters so you have a deadline by which your kickass deal ends?
  2. Why are you better off focusing your time on new leads instead of wasting another minute beating dead deer?
  3. Who in your funnel right now has not made a budge either way so you can send a 'There is clearly something wrong here, what is holding you back or shall we just call it a day?"
  4. When in your week do you clean out those dead leads so you can get rid off them asap?
  5. How will you share your breakup stories with your team so you know nobody in your organization is wasting precious time on deals that will never fly?
