- Around 71,058 Tons per annum of Kerala generates hazardous waste up?
- Research report claims – around 17.5% of total Municipal Waste is generated in urban regions of Kerala, which requires significant treatment
Recently, the Kerala State Government has collaborated with the World Bank to address solid waste management problems.?
In fact, the Malappuram Municipality has initiated a Solid Waste Management project with the World Bank’s support to address the on-going solid waste problems.?

The Malappuram Municipality of Kerala planned advanced solid Waste treatment by relying on World Bank to fulfill the following objectives –?
