How Kenna's transcription company began 21 years ago

Once upon a time in 1999 there was a youngish but still 50 something typist named Kenna. Her oral pathologist boss was retiring. Kenna was very sad. Then her friend the receptionist suggested that she start her own transcription business so she wouldn't be walking the streets.

That's how the germ of an idea took shape in Kenna's fertile imagination. So she started her own business, Kenna McKinnon & Associates. Her first client was her former boss. Her second client was a wonderful company who gave her the chance to transcribe from tapes. Now no one uses tapes anymore. It is all digital and Kenna's company has grown with technology.

She offers a secure computer folder for her clients to upload their digital files onto and the server uses Google Drive, which is the preferred server for most universities and very secure.

University professors and graduate students also like Kenna. She offers special rates for those on a grant and has oodles of experience. Kenna also has a university B.A. degree from, let's face it, very long ago!

Kenna's favorite specialties are university professors and students, nursing departments, orthopedic surgeons, gynecologists, and family doctors. But she offers her superb services to any project without prejudice! She also achieved 96% in a legal terminology course from the US.
