How to keep your thoughts fresh and clean?
1. Drink a large glass of water and a cup of tea shortly after you wake up. Psychotherapists talk about how important it is to build a small routine of things, to make them during the day only for yourself and your pleasure. So choose what you can achieve every day! The presence of a routine should not be something difficult! Try and write small healthy habits into your daily life.
2. A good therapist can literally change your life! It’s not scary or painful to talk about things that hurt us… But one day you’ll know it was worth it! If you do not want to talk, then you can also try to buy a beautiful, colorful self-help book (drawing and writing works wonders for mental health!)
3. Don’t be ashamed to ask for help. Asking for help doesn’t make you weak, it makes you strong. Call your family, friends, or someone who makes you feel better! Remember, these people are always with you and want you to feel good. Open your heart to them and they’ll help you heal.
4. Sometimes it’s okay not to be able to do simple things, but please try. Eat something and drink as much water as possible! It’s so hard to get yourself out of bed when you have one of those terrible days, but don’t forget to take care of yourself! You are wonderful and worthy of love. Everything will work out.
5. Never compare yourself with others! This is especially difficult for people who should always prove their worth to others. Whenever you want to compare yourself with your friend, remember that everyone is growing at their own pace! Be kind to yourself! One day you will grow into the person you wanted to be, so be gentle with yourself now; you’re still growing.
