How to jump start your IT career without Programming?

Recently, I had the opportunity to meet?people from many different backgrounds with different calibers of skills, and many of them asked me a common question.

How come they join the IT industry if they are coming from non-IT background?

Well, in my humble opinion and with minimal experience of the IT sector, I believe that if you're enthusiastic about IT and continue to investigate your alternatives, the guidelines below can easily aid you in landing an IT position. This guideline is one of the pathway but definitely there will be heaps more.

While putting up this guide, I took care to identify trainings which have been given online, available in multiple time zones, and thus are free of charge.

1. Create your Profile on the following link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/learning/dashboard.aspx
2. Either use an existing or create a new email address. (Recommend using your personal Hotmail or outlook.com email address)
3. Now, you need to register for different training events with the same email address as used in step 1 & 2.
4. Following are the training events you need to register:

• Microsoft Power Platform Virtual Training Day: Fundamentals
• Microsoft Power Platform Virtual Training Day: Automate Business Processes
• App in a day
• Robotic Process Automation in a Day
• Dashboard in a Day
• Paginated Reports in a Day
• Power Virtual Agents in a Day
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Virtual Training Day: Fundamentals (CRM)
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Virtual Training Day: Fundamentals (ERP)
