When ppl using kamado grilll, most of them have a difficulty in judging whether meat is cooked or not. Some people grill meat as the recipe mentioned do, included coooking time. It is also a pretty approach, but when they enjoy the food, they would find that the meat is not cooked yet. To lower down such a embarrassed suitations to least, there are some tips to hepl u.
1. Judge meat doness by people's hand.
Protein is hiden in all kinds of meat, and it wil be gradually tough when heated. Exprienced cooks can easily know the meat doneness by their hands. 2. Cuting a small slice of meat is a practial and accurate way to check whether meat is done or not. When cuting, u don’t much worry about much gravy flowing out, it bring furtherly fewer loss than those that some cafes offer uncooked or charred food to customers.
3. Use therometer to measure temperature
When grilling a large chunk of meat or chicken, using theromter would help people even bbq beginners to master internal temperature of meat accurately. Stick needle into the meat, and the therometer will read. When grill chicken, it is better to stick needle with a certain angle between chicken drumsticks and chicken breast to guarantee the accuracy of temperature.
