These are just SOME of the comments I found on our Tribe's WhatsApp group when I opened it this morning. Jeff had shared his latest audiobook recording with us on our Tribe Members Only Whatsapp Group...and the group was going crazy for his newest narration!

This got me thinking... In a very short time, Jeff has gained A LOT of fans that will often talk about him, mention him, and follow up with him for a coffee if his work is keeping him too busy for too long!!! And when I started thinking about it, I realized... I feel the same way!

There is no way I will ever be able to use any other voice-over artist than Jeff for my videos, books, and productions... (well, there would have to be a VERY good reason!). I also realized that I often speak about Jeff. I'm often telling people about his incredible voice and awesome personality and I tend to refer him without even thinking twice!

This is obviously a pretty awesome position to be in! Having a whole tribe of fans that refer you without even thinking about it, and speak highly of you whether other people want to hear it or not can do wonders for any entrepreneur's entrepreneurial ventures! So I thought it would be a good idea to tell the story of how Jeff did it... for those of you that still need to get to this position! So let me think back...

Pre-Explore ProTech Jeff: The Successful Voice-over Artist

Jeff has always been amazing at what he does. He has an amazing voice, fantastic personality and incredible charisma, and entrepreneurial flair to boot. Pre-Explore ProTech Jeff already had his website up and running, had an email list going, and was hosting his podcast on a regular basis. He had a desire for growth, though...and he had heard from various fellow voice-over artists that "no one ever targets the entrepreneurs."

Meeting Jeff: The Incredible Networker who happens to be a voiceover artist!

I met Jeff for the first time at our September 2021 Global Online Speed Networking Event. It was easy to notice and remember him because he was the person inside his 'super cool' studio box. With his LED strip lights, professional microphone, and smooth, easy-to-listen-to voice, he was an instant hit!

I was pleasantly surprised when he was the very first person to sign up to join our tribe - directly after the event! Me and my co-founder, Peter, were still talking about inviting him to join our tribe when he had already found the link and joined! We, and the rest of the tribe, were over the moon!

From the get-go, Jeff pitched up at every single Tribe Training Session we had. He said that he loved our Tribe Members Only Whatsapp Group because by the time he woke up (Jeff was one of our first US Tribe Members) the group would already be filled with so much positivity... it would just give him the energy to do what he needed to do for the day going through the messages...

Jeff became best friends with a lot of the tribe members very quickly! He had his one-on-one coffee meetings with our tribe members and before long he was involved in collaborative projects and everybody was talking about how awesome he sounds when he speaks! It was always a blast to have him at our events too - he often amused us by narrating something for us in the voice of Kermit the Frog! And sometimes he would just contribute some awesome audio totally on the fly!

Jeff gave us one of the most amazing gifts soon after! It was a beautiful voice-over custom recorded, with different types of background music, to go with our "What is Global Online Speed Networking?" Youtube Video which was just being produced at the time. Many people said that it was his voice that made that video take off in the way that it did! I'm still convinced that most of the views we've achieved on that video (331 views, 5+ subscribers, and 4-hours watch time for the 1-minute video) we only got because he gave us the gift of the perfect voice over!

Ever since those days, Jeff has become an integral part of our tribe... Everyone knows him or knows about him... and most of us actually consider him a very cool, and dear!, friend. He has volunteered to step up as the US Hub Host for when we roll out Local Online Speed Networking in the US...and he is also currently working with one of our slam poets on an awesome parody to drive even more traffic to the tribe! He was also one of the people to step up first to help with the re(launch) of Entrepreneurs Lifestyle Magazine when one of our tribe members really needed it.

And he has coached some of our members for various speaking gigs, including getting Ted-Talk ready!

Future Jeff: The Most Successful Voice-over Artist and Speaking Coach in the world!

Jeff is super-busy these days, but he remains a huge part of our tribe and a hero in our tribe's story. At the same time, he has provided us with a shining example of how to network and do it well! Give first, the business will come... Focus on getting those referrals... Have your one-on-one coffees. Be a good person. Be a nice person. Have fun! Make friends! If I think of Jeff's story I think those are the key points that stand out to me... Oh, and of course it helps to have an absolutely incredibly stunning voice and super cool studio with LED lights! LOL

In future, Jeff is planning on stepping up as the Explore ProTech US Hub Leader when we roll out Local Online Speed Networking in the US...and I happen to know that he is also working on a course for public speaking and speaking with confidence...and he is even helping some fellow voice-over artists to make sense of and be successful practicing their art and business. I'm sure his Ted Talk will also be coming soon. And maybe, if we're lucky he'll give us a course or some tips on how to be as successful in business and networking as he has been!
