Stock Produces Better Service

Over the last 25 years we’ve worked hard in the business at providing really good service. We’ve come to realise that many of our clients need and expect fast track service, just like we all do. This has led us to increase our investment in stock across the business, but in particular our road & footpath repair materials. Working with utilities contractors and local authorities all over Ireland, we have seen how quickly demand can shift in reactive maintenance works alongside the planned projects. Ultimately both need our pallets of high strength materials to arrive on time, but usually quickly. Across the entiriety of Ireland we are able to provide next day service on our products which gives our customers the confidence to rely on Emtek when they need rapid service.

Logistics

Moving 1.4 Tonne pallets isn’t always easy, but working closely with our logistics partners over the years we have developed really good distribution channels from the factory in GB mainland to our warehouse in Lisburn, then on to every county in Ireland. By investing in substantial levels of stock it allows us to maintain the right product mix of repair asphalts for clients fixing potholes, right through to flowable grouts for paving contractors working on top end residential and public realm scheme’s. Every night we pick, pack and dispatch the materials then review stock levels, re-ordering throughout the week to hold adequate quantities of materials.

You Can't Sell It If You Don't Have It

Everyone in business will have experienced that feeling of knowing you can secure the order, but you can’t get the product needed in time to fulfil it, more often than not risking letting down your valued client, not what anyone wants in business. Emtek continues to invest heavily in stock so as to endeavour to always be able to meet client order requirements of repair materials that day. It’s a commitment that central to our business ethos, enabling us to deliver the sort of market leading service we want to for our customers across Ireland.
