How an Intern start off at Honeycomb

Many just send a resume and don't follow up. But Sahana was not like that. She comes with strong willpower, and she definitely needs the opportunity. We understand how serious they are to get the opportunity during the first conversation itself. We were happy to extend the opportunity to her. Here, she is sharing her experience.

COVID-19 has brought disruption in the flow of business activities. From remote working to rapid decline in job opportunities; it has impacted the business world extremely. 

During this phase, I was worried about getting a good internship. Analyzing the current scenario, where everything was getting digital, it was clear on how all sectors of industries were adapting to digital marketing. I wanted to find an opportunity that will shape me for the future ahead.  

 I was adamant on interning in a digital marketing agency as that would provide me great exposure on various topics and techniques and would get insights on different industries. 

Being next, I applied at Honeycomb Creative Support (p) Ltd for a digital marketing internship. I had an opportunity to get on a call with the founder Noufel Sir, immense gratitude to him for letting me intern as a Digital marketer.  

I was nervous as I had no prior experience in working but since day one, the entire honeycomb team has been helping me to learn and sharing their experiences with me so that I could improve my work.

I never thought I would be able to learn and have fun at the same time. Noufel sir, always encourages the team to come up with new ideas and motivate the team by giving the latest news to keep ourselves updated with the changing market trends.

Here is my first assignment on - Top 10 ways for Lead Generation. 

Noufel sir provided me with a good source of content to do my research. It was a great learning experience. I learned how to analyze the topics and techniques to do my research that would fetch me the data I’m looking for. The presentation made for corporate is different from what I had learned in college. Overall, I feel confident in trying out new things as I know I will keep learning at Honeycomb on various assignments and projects.
