Here are the tips I’ve learnt from my experience

  1. I have my Australian staff train the new Filipino staff?
  2. Educate your local staff about the benefits that offshore team members can bring overall.
  3. Make sure everyone in the organisation understands these points:?

  • It makes sense to fill some roles offshore while maintaining strategic roles onshore
  • Explain that we will always need local staff
  • Culturally, Filipino staff are exceptionally easy to integrate. The culture is very hospitable. The workers are eager to please you?

And with this understanding, I tell them:?

“Now it's your job to get the new staff up to OUR standard!”
