How to install WordPress?

1. Install WordPress

?Installing WordPress is pretty straightforward. You'll need a web hosting service (we recommend Bluehost), and then download the latest version of WordPress. Once you've downloaded the software, unzip it somewhere safe, and upload the files to your server. If you're using Bluehost, just log into your account and click on Add New Domain. Then enter the name of your website, select the plan you want, and follow the instructions.

?2. Create Your Blog

?Once you have installed WordPress, you'll need to create your blog. Enter a title for your blog, choose a template, and customize the look of your site. Click Save Changes at the bottom right-hand corner.

?3. Set Up Your Site's Permalinks

?Permalinks allow you to easily update your posts without having to manually edit each individual post. Choose either Post Name or Post Slug, depending on what you prefer.

?4. Activate Plugins

?Plugins make your site easier to use. There are thousands of plugins available, and many are free. Scroll down to find the plugin you'd like to add and click on Add Widget.

?5. Customize Your Sidebar

?The sidebar is where you'll find links to your favorite pages, categories, tags, and archives. To change its appearance, go to your Dashboards, and click on Appearance. In the left-hand column, click on the Edit link under the sidebars section. From here, you can drag and drop widgets to rearrange them, and remove any unwanted ones.

?6. Change Your Theme

?Your theme determines how your site looks. To change it, go to your Dashboard, and click on Themes. Find the theme you'd like to use, and click on Activate.

?7. Update Your Profile

?You should always keep your profile updated. Here, you can view your user information, including your email address, username, password, and billing details.
