Light brass anchor PCL 700 has an internal metric thread and its outer surface totally dimpled aimed to offer the best grip inside the hole. Its short length makes it suitable for applications to be carried out on thin base materials.
Substrates: Concrete; Natural Stone, Wood Structures.
Suitable to fix: Drywall ceilings; Railing; Metallic profiles; Stairs; Wood columns.
How to install:
1.Drill a hole
2.Clean the hole
3.Insert the anchor into the hole
4. Adjust the plug until it is flush with the surface
5.Insert the metric screw or rod bar and perform the final tightening the right torque
6.Plug is installed
Important installation procedure
- Choose the right anchor size according to the load;
- Always check load bearing capacity values consulting the load table in the technical data sheets;
- Before placing the anchor the strength class of the concrete should be checked and ensure that is not lower than the characteristics load apply;
- The concrete should be well compacted, without significant fissures;
- The edge distance and spacing between the holes should be kept considering specified values, no minor tolerances are allowed;
- Drill to the minimum depth and diameter specified, maintaining perpendicular to the surface of the base material;
- Clean thoroughly with brush and remove debris by way of vacuum or hand pump, compressed air, etc;
- Introduce the brass anchor inside the hole. Use a hammer if necessary;
- Thread the rod in the anchor to the depth shown in the table. An inefficient rod placing could cause a lower resistance of the brass anchor. An excessive depth can break the anchor.
