How to install Chrome OS on your old laptop or computer?
What you need (Initial planning)?
Get a USB flash drive (an 8GB or greater); Fetch an old computer (back up your important date in advance); 20 minutes for USB installer creation;?
To create the USB installer: a PC, Mac or Chromebook running the Chrome browser.
Method 1：make USB system disk
1)Google CloudReady, enter it’s official site: https://www.neverware.com
Click “INTALL THE HOME EDITION”?
2)?Download the USB Maker: “cloudready-usb-maker.exe”?
3)?Double click the downloaded?“cloudready-usb-maker.exe”, to make system disk, that is online install Chrome OS to your USB flash drive. Better using VPN to achieve internet connection download
Then insert the CloudRady USB boot disk (your flash drive) to your old computer to formally install Chrome OS:
1)?Press power button on your laptop or desk computer, then press “F2”enter BIOS, set your flash drive as Priority Boost #1, then reboot.
2)?It shows the CloudReady，then into installation steps. Click on the bottom right corner, find “Install OS”?and click it to complete the final steps.
