Delivering premium temporary structures through our turn-key solution | Offer your visitors something truly unique
Any business owner knows that temporary structures play a considerable role in how your brand is perceived at events. Of course, practicality is and always has been the core function of temporary structures, but we believe the appearance and branding of your structure need to match your brand perfectly whilst embracing advancements in design and technology.
Event marketing is more important than ever and the need to stand out amongst your competitors plays a key part in the success of your events.
In this article, we’re sharing the latest innovations in temporary structures and taking a look at the cutting-edge projects that we’ve been involved with.
Black cladding
Black cladding is a popular design trend which can be a stylish addition to your temporary structure.
It can be used side-by-side with lighter-coloured fa?ades to create a colour contrast and provide a contemporary, organic and luxurious feel to your structure.
Cantilevers
These are rigid structural elements, extending from your structure over an empty space. This allows for overhanging features, without the need for additional support.
This can be an effective way to catch the attention of potential customers at events. The impressive and elegant look and feel of an event stand with cantilevers will help you attract attention amongst the sea of box-shaped stands that can be little more than the 2024 version of marquee tents.
Cantilevers are often used in bridges and towers but have become a popular design element for temporary structures.
Biophilic design
Biophilic designs incorporate natural lighting, ventilation and landscape features, such as leaves or plants, creating a warm sensory experience.
Worldwide Structures has embraced this approach, working with DMN to create an innovative café structure, Monty’s Bakehouse, in Hamburg, Germany.
Sustainable features
We know that sustainability is high on the agenda for most businesses, with making eco-friendly choices, cutting down on waste and reducing the use of paper key priorities.
Temporary structures can be a greener option, requiring fewer resources to construct and sustain. They can be dismantled and reinstalled, making them far more sustainable than alternatives.
At Worldwide Structures, over 95% of our components are reused and those that can’t be are repurposed into new components or recycled by licenced contractors.
Our components are made from aluminium, which currently has a global recycling efficiency (RER) rate of 76%.
We always ensure we can reuse and repurpose as many components as possible and, to work towards this, all of our parts are made to be compatible with one another.
Sustainability is more than a trend – it’s a necessity.
We were approached on behalf of Electric Vehicle (EV) manufacturer BYD to deliver a temporary structure for multiple activations. We created a design that could be reconfigured across different events, using bespoke components.
This helped We Are Nameless create a memorable experience for visitors, while helping our team speed up installation, reduce costs and minimise impact on the environment.
It’s proof that temporary structures don’t have to be ‘one-size-fits-all' – they can look modern and stylish and even be changed across activations to provide a unique experience at each event.
Worldwide Structures was commissioned to deliver a double-storey hospitality bar for Mo?t & Chandon at the prestigious Cheltenham Races.
The client was looking for a refreshing and inviting structure with a main hospitality space and roof terrace, including an open-sided ground floor with easy access to the bar.
Our innovative flat roof system allowed any standing water to channel through upright columns and our elegant curved Circulus structure, using faceted full-height glass, helped this client stand out from the crowd.
This well-known premium tyre company wanted to demonstrate their brand across two automotive festivals – the Goodwood Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival.
They required two hugely different structures – a double-storey structure for the main event space and a smaller one to act as the centrepiece of the Super Car Paddock, replicating a real-life building.
