How to Be An Influencer in 2019

My name is Heather Havenwood and welcome to Build Your Empire Like a Boss Daily. So I'm going to be talking to you today about something really cool, basically how to build your influence. So I'm super excited about that. Alright everyone, welcome to 2019.

We made it, whoa. In another video, I just talk about why influence is really important. I'm not gonna talk about that today.

I'm actually gonna be focusing on how to become an influencer in 2019.

I have another video that talks about why to move from being an expert to an influencer, what's the differences. I also talk about other videos of why you make more money as an influencer versus expert and all the good stuff.

Feel free to check those out on Facebook, as well as YouTube and LinkedIn. But today, I'm really focusing on how to become an influencer in 2019 to be really successful. So that's really the focus of this video today and I really wanna say thanks for being here.

Alright, so here's the deal. When you become an influencer online, the entire point of being an influencer is what I call becoming omnipresent. That's the strategy behind it. Well how do you become omnipresent? Alright, so that's kinda the whole gist of what I'm gonna be talking to you about today, is what actually is being an influencer and being omnipresent in today's marketplace. Let's just describe what omnipresent is.

Omnipresent means you're everywhere all the time.

Well we have to sleep and things like that, but the Internet, unfortunately, is on 24/7 and people get on at all different times and so we wanna make sure our businesses are basically on from a marketing perspective all the time. That's being omnipresent. Well, how do you do that?

You have a life. Maybe you can't hire a full-time content creator like Gary V. How do you actually do that? So this is how you do it. You ready?

Take notes 'cause this is a note taker one. And I'm gonna tell you exactly the strategy that I do. I feel like people say I'm omnipresent meaning I'm everywhere.

When someone says to you, oh my god I see you everywhere or I see your business ad everywhere. That's actually a good sign. Okay, and that is what you want.

So here we go. Here's how I do it, ready?

Step One: The first thing you do is a Facebook live.

Now I actually use another software that I use that I can stream it to five different locations.I'm not gonna talk to you about that today. I'm actually doing a whole another video about re-streaming and how that's really gonna be popular in 2019. But right now it's the basics. 10 minutes of Facebook live, which we're doing right now so I'm actually doing what I say I'm going to be teaching you basically. I'm doing what I teach. So 10 minutes of Facebook live. And do that on your business page. Now the reason I say your business page is because anyone who clicks on the business page, the video here you can retarget. You can't do that on your personal page, so again another video for that. But let's do, on your business page, now you can share on your personal page, you can share it to all the groups that you have or may not have, however, do it on your business page so when they watch the video, you can retarget them in the future.

Step Two: then you take the video, you download that video and you upload it to LinkedIn.

Now the beauty of that is it has to be under 10 minutes. So right now I actually have a stopper right here that actually is basically I have to complete my content in 10 minutes because LinkedIn will not take a video of more than 10 minutes and LinkedIn is powerful. LinkedIn video is the future you're going to see more and more of in 2019, so this is a game changer. Alright, so that's the first thing I do. I did a 10 minute video of Facebook. It's gotta be under 10 minutes. I download the video and then what I do is I connect it. I connect it to a company called Repurpose.io I'll put that link here in the video here in a minute.

No affiliate link obviously. My friend, Hani, who've I've interviewed actually about what he does. Now here's the beautiful part. He's actually been able to connect to Facebook so that once you do the Facebook live, the Repurpose.io will actually, from a feed, will turn it into a YouTube video, so you don't have to download, upload it. You can do this automatically with Repurpose.io. Let me repeat, you're going to do Facebook live 10 minutes, it's going to go right into your YouTube automatically through the feed at Repurpose.io

So we're now at one, two, three places that you're gonna be all with just one 10-minute video. Pretty cool.

Step Three: Turn the Video into a Podcast - Automatically!

The next thing we do is after the Facebook live for 10 minutes. Alright, and with the software and Repurpose.io, we connect it to our Libsyn account - software company, again, no sponsorship, no affiliate link here. Libsyn is basically the software, the hub, where you put your audio that creates a thing called RSS feed. And the RSS feed, okay, is what iTunes, SoundCloud, Spotify, iHeart pulls from to push out your audio as a podcast.

Now, again, if that's too hard to understand just type into YouTube RSS feed or I might do that in a video later. But my point is, again, let's go back, ready? 10 minute Facebook live video. Then the software at Repurpose.io pulls the audio, okay, you don't have to do this, it's all automatic. And then it pushes it to the RSS feed via Lybsyn, which then pushes it out to iTunes, Google Play and other locations, anywhere else that you submitted your RSSV. How cool is that?

One Facebook live 10 minute video. You do have to download this one and put it up to LinkedIn. There is no connection API with LinkedIn. They haven't opened that. I've heard they have. Download video from Facebook and upload it to Linkedin.

Step Four: Video Gets Uploaded to You Tube.

Once you do the Facebook Live for 10 min, then, via Repurpose.io that video also gets uploaded over to YouTube. That's kinda cool. Then the same video is going to be a podcast the audio's gonna be pulled out and it's gonna be sent to the RSS feed to Libsyn where it's gonna be pushed to iTunes.

Step Five: Audio is sent to special RSS feed for Alexa News Briefings

Now, here is a little kick off, because it's under 10 minutes. Because it's under 10 minutes, you have to do a second RSS feed for this, you'll have to create two accounts inside Libsyn, it can be pushed to Alexa newsfeed. Alexa News Briefing. Which is different than just the Alexa Podcast.

So with that news briefing, what that means is, there's Amazon Alexa podcast and then there's Amazon Alexa news briefing. The news briefing has to be under 10 minutes or it actually literally rejects the whole thing. So again, you can actually be in two locations on Amazon with one, 10 minute video. How cool is that? Alright, this is how you automate and become an influencer in 2019.

BONUS Step Six: Now, one more little bonus which is you take that video, rev.com. Rev.com actually has a service, it's a premier service, but you can actually connect it to Dropbox and what happens is you take that video and you drop it into Dropbox, and automatically, rev.com pulls the feed from that audio and creates a transcription automatically.

You don't even have to log in to rev.com, it like automatically does this for you. How cool is that? One less thing you have to do. Now remember, lots of people hire people from overseas to do all these things. You don't have to do any of this.

This is just one 10 minute video from Facebook live and everything is gonna be automated after this 'cause I believe in automation versus just hiring a bunch of people to do work.
