Article summary: The tendency for organizations to make short, ad-hoc or one-sided decisions during crises demonstrated the slowdown in productivity and constrained many businesses to evolve in an unreasoned environment — and prevent long-term decision processes. As individuals, we have to acknowledge that our activities need to evolve and that our future will be shaped by all kinds of influences and environmental pressures.
Now is the time to come together and ignite global conversations about how we can address some of society’s biggest challenges using a bottom-up approach and realign technology with the best interest of people.
We invite you to join us along with experts to an inclusive series of immersive digital events to collaborate, develop, and launch new tech-powered social initiatives.
We will host a series of 8 online meetings every Monday from October 19 to December 7, 2020.

An inclusive series dedicated to initiate collaboration and build sustainable solutions
The ability to harness information technology to really solve global issues while, as a consequence, encouraging diversity and inclusion in traditional sectors, saving the environment by creating awareness, and supporting local economic recovery are a lot of reasons for optimism.
It is also the occasion to highlight the tremendous efforts made by many enterprises that positioned themselves on the front lines to support social initiatives and organizations in their efforts through their capacity to deploy fast solutions and favor value-based solutions.
Moreover, one specific and timely way technology can help organizations facing unexpected supply chain or logistical challenges, is by allowing them to optimize their data to reach only a certain subset of customers or engage with only a certain category of stakeholders.
For instance, the use of predictive analytics proved just one of many solutions helping to create more sustainable and resilient communities.
On another level, it was widely demonstrated that by creating new blended models focused on human-centered services, organizations can literally embrace the advantages in understanding and adapting when paradigm shifts as the COVID-19 pandemic occur.
8 exclusive meetings, every Monday - October 19 - December 7, 2020

The challenge: powerful solutions to pressing global challenges
This series will be followed up by a special challenge to create more insights and turn them into actions for the challenge “The road to sustainability” that will take place on December 21, 2020.
We are partnering with businesses, governments, and social sector organizations to deliver frame-breaking solutions to some of the most complex problems in contemporary society.
We will explore with executives from large corporations about their experience and emphasis on how to magnify the impact of social initiatives, the in-depth analytics, the strategic insights, and key takeaways, and try to better understand how innovative applications of digital technologies can expand aspirations and help think beyond traditional corporate social responsibility initiatives.
The value of a connected data-driven approach
The most pressing issues for organizations is to figure out how to stay ahead of this new reality, provide their communities what they need, and be well prepared for eventual recovery.
By taking bold decisions and deliberately contributing to invest in sustainable communities and resilient environments, the financial crisis could give social enterprises an unprecedented opportunity to innovate.
