As attorneys, you work such a demanding job that it can be hard to feel productive on a given day.
You have your "normal to-do's," yet it doesn't take long before a million other things are piled on top.?
* Cue the overwhelm, stress, and distractions. *
No kidding, you feel unproductive.?
This is why getting intentional in your days is so vitally important. So here are a few of my best tips to help you get shit done without the noise:

1. Time block your day. Begin with your non-negotiables and schedule your entire day [even your lunch and breaks] and include it on your calendar so your team + clients know when they can reach you.?
2. Prioritize your tasks every morning. Sometimes I like to start with the tasks I dread most or list them by the due date, find what works best for you, and begin each day like this.?
3. Set boundaries with yourself + your clients, don't be afraid to tell your clients you're busy and will call them back during your allotted time that day. And when it comes time to take a break or eat something nutritious and fuel your mind and body food, DO NOT skip out; hold that boundary with yourself.?
4. Turn off your phone during certain hours, when it is time to "get to work," shut your phone off or redirect your calls to your team. Your phone can be one of the biggest distractions, so be intentional with them.?
5. Get clear on what you are allowing within your day. Is there something you are allowing space that you could remove or cut back? Maybe you can evaluate your boundaries, what you are unnecessarily saying yes to, be more strict with meeting times or reduce "pop-ins" at the office, ect.?
