This is by far the most important on the list. If you don't make a phone call you cannot make a sale. The more calls you make the more sales you can make and it is really that simple. Use the phone to qualify your customers, and make calls every single day.
I get on linkedin, I network, and as soon as we connect with someone our team can help, we get off the net and get on a call.
Be a FRIENDLY Expert
Know your products and becoming an expert is NOT enough. Nowadays the market is flooded with experts, with minds loaded with expertise and knowledge, brains oozing with data and facts, so competing in the expertise level, is not what will get you sales!
Become a FRIENDLY EXPERT! and win the deals EVERY TIME!
If you were to chose to do business with a bozo or an expert, who would you sign up? 100% of us would chose the expert. Right?
If you were to do business with an expert or a FRIENDLY expert, who would you pick and sign a check to? 100% of us would pick the FRIENDLY expert. See, how just by becoming friendly, one expert took 100% of the business from the other...
Create Valuable Follow Ups

YOU MUST FOLLOW UP, that's a fact of sales. However, very quickly, following up can become "stalkerish" if you do not bring up VALUE to your prospects.
Consider, your prospects' time is even more valuable than yours. With this mind set in focus, you will ALWAYS make the right effort, to respect the relationship. Make a point to bring them information, applicable market insights that will help them view you as... THE FRIENDLY EXPERT.

Go into your search bar right here in LinkedIn, type in a topic that might benefit your audience and prospects, find relevant articles, glean some insights, and share these as you do your follow up calls.
K.I.S.S -KEEP IT STUPID SIMPLE- and W.I.I.F.M -WHAT's IN IT FOR ME- are still the key rules to successful marketing and sales

Some may feel or think these are obvious steps, not very deep, not that insightful, interestingly enough, it's ALWAYS the most obvious steps that tend to be missed and neglected.
