Yesterday, I attended the How to Sell Better with LinkedIn event at Atolyle in Emirates Towers.
It was an interesting session where, Wael Hassan ?? ???? ??? from LinkedIn and Nadine Zidani ?were the speakers.
Consistency of approach and having a professional profile were some of the suggestions in the talk and we had an opportunity to meet lot of our group members.
While consistency of posting and having a professional profile are important, I think its even more important to understand that all posts that you do are fighting inertia.
Which means, your post or article is like a car starting on a cold winter morning and trying to climb a steep snow clad mountain without much momentum.
Some LinkedIn experts call it being 'stuck in the mud' and trying to wiggle out.
I like to call it the Social Media Inertia, where all of your enthusiasm and excitement can evaporate in a few hours when you realize only 7 people have seen your post and you got 3 likes.
None of these points were discussed in the meeting yesterday, but if you are to get massive exposure for your posts on LinkedIn you need to understand the nitty gritty of the algo.
So, how do you fight this social media inertia or being stuck in the mud phenomenon?
This is what I get asked on a daily basis, as my posts get wild engagement.
Well, if you want to really know what it is.
Wait for the drumroll.

Are your ready?
Ok, the secret of LinkedIn engagement is Facebook!
Surprised?
When I make a post for myself or for my clients, I share it in my FB group with 60,000 people and in my FB Pages with 100,000 followers.
Then, I quickly share in my Meetup groups with 10,000 people and Whatsapp group with 2000 members.
The initial pulse that I get sends a wave through my 100,000 follower base on LinkedIn and the excitement begins.
This is how we are getting massive reach on LinkedIn for our clients.
There are content marketing agencies in town with 50 to 100 employees that cannot match our reach on LinkedIn.
And that's because their posts get stuck in the mud and there's no way out.
If your posts are not getting 50,000 to 100,000 reach on LinkedIn and you want to get out of the mud, reach out to us today.

2 年Kishore, you are saying that to get a target audience in LinkedIn you need to point your existing audience external to LinkedIn toward LinkedIn. Very sensible. It's also proof that LinkedIn reach sucks even if you produce competent content. And I can attest to that, having spent years using Facebook and gaining far better results there sooner and far more economically in time and budget than in LinkedIn. Cheers to you for sharing this insight! ??????
