How to improve my conversation skills

If you are speaking with another person, it is important that you engage him or her, and let him or her know that you want to participate. Quite often, this is a difficult task, as the conversation is just out of your comfort level.

Ensure that you can always ask a question. I recommend this, and any student of mine throughout my entire teaching career will be able to tell you, yes, I am quite insistent. The object of this article is to open doors. If you are interested in more information, do not hesitate to comment or ask.

Step 1 is to memorize the list and become familiar with it… learn how to make questions, say yes, say no, repeat.

The rule is so simple, I’ve even had large groups of five year olds making questions out of any random sentence from any book.
