How to Improve Memory-Keep up appointments

Remembering the points, case laws, names, appointments etc. has been a lifelong challenge for me from the CA study days till date. A small collation for all those who have similar challenges could be as under:

1.?????General Empowering Habits which are useful are:

a.?????Focus on improvement of memory rather that the lack of memory. [change the thought to change the action]

b.?????Ensure good amount of exercise at least 5 days a week. Besides benefiting the physical health, it would help to keep ourself energized. Adequate blood flow to brain as well as other parts of the body.

c.??????Sufficient & regular sleep.

d.?????Regular movement (stretching, walking around) and hydration during longer working hours.

e.?????Natural supplements like beet juice, ginkgo, etc.

f.??????Be a net giver- never think that salary sufficient.

Note: These would improve our general outlook, vitality and balance also. Professionally our integrity on keeping our word would get fortified.

2.?????Specific Measures which could enhance remembering are:

a.?????Use a calendar [physical or digital- as per your comfort]. Ensure it is carried when in travel- 1 A4 sheet with dates and days enough for each month. 2 sheets towards the month end.

b.?????If admin staff available- get them to update on the system / physical as the case maybe. In case of meetings, they can send an invite which would pop up. They can also set reminders which would remind us.

If no staff then consider doing it yourself.

c.??????In case of reviews, monitoring, projects, a tracker can be used with auto mailing for delays.

d.?????Make oneself accountable to others- they should question in case we miss forget.

e.?????For those who are ok with to- do lists update the to do list from the calendar and carry it wherever you go.

Many others could be there. An attempt to share. Readers may share what they do that they find effective for others to emulate.?

Calender driven to do lists are actually helpful. Also, there are such to-do lists apps which has natural language processing that automatically set calender dates when we mention them in our to-do. Thanks for the share sir :)
