How important is work life balance?

Some people enjoy long hours.

So, 70 hour work weeks can be fun for them.

Others prefer hybrid working and flexible hours.

They give more emphasis to a good work life balance.

The beauty of the modern work life is that there is more flexibility.

When I used to work at Saatchi in the early 2000s, we used to work for 48 hours without a break and then take a day off (for mega presentations.)

There was no pressure to put in those hours but it was a lot of fun, like setting up a studio and watching a tv commercial coming to life.

??? ?

So, I think its not the hours that count but the way all team members come together to achieve a common goal.
