How Important is SEO to Your Business?

Is SEO or Search Engine Optimization important to your business? Absolutely and here's why. 

There are 3 vital parts to any website.

1.) Your objective. What do you want your website to achieve for your business?

2.) The design, layout, functionality and user experience of your website.

3.) SEO.

Years ago in business to receive an increased number if inquiries you had to have a good ad in the Yellow Pages. It was considered essential, in fact Yellow Pages have even done ads depicting an extremely unhappy boss who's employee forgot to book the Yellow Pages ad before the deadline. Remember 'Not Happy Jan!

These days we search for so much online and we search via the main search engines being Google, Bing and Yahoo.

Our search habits are the reason you need to be on page 1 on Google.

For example when we search on Google for anything, rarely do we go past the first page, we haven't got the time or patience to keep looking and looking. Furthermore usually we find what we need or are actually looking for on Page 1.

Only if we are looking for a specific website do we look beyond that first page on Google.  

Therefore if your website is not 'Optimised' so that it displays or ranks on page 1 on Google then you're missing out on all those inquiries that are going to your competitors who are on page 1.  

 SEO is what literally makes your website display or rank on Google.

SEO is a strategy, a bit of a science, there is good SEO that delivers the results and then there is not so good SEO. 

Any SEO provider should be able and willing to prove to you the results they have achieved for their clients websites. 

The bottom line is good SEO directly results in increased inquiries, it makes your phone ring!
