God versus The Enemy

Understanding who God is and recognizing the contrast between God and the enemy is critical in developing a strong belief. God is truth, love, life, order, and peace. On the other hand, the enemy lies, hates, destroys, kills, brings chaos, and starts wars.

Who Do You Need God To Be For You In This Season?

The different names of God reflect his nature and character. Depending on your circumstances, you may need God to be Yahweh, the self-existent and eternal; Elohim, emphasizing God's power and might; El Shaddai, God Almighty; Adonai, emphasizing God's lordship and authority; Jehovah-Jireh, The Lord Will Provide; Jehovah-Rapha, The Lord Who Heals; Jehovah-Nissi, The Lord Is My Banner; Jehovah-Shalom, The Lord Is Peace; Jehovah-Raah, The Lord Is My Shepherd; or Abba, Father.

Trust

Trust, in Biblical terms, goes beyond a simple reliance; it conveys a deep sense of security and confidence, particularly in the context of trusting in God.

Obedience

In the context of biblical Hebrew, obedience is often closely linked with hearing and heeding the voice or commands of God. However, several factors can hinder your obedience, such as the instructions sounding too impractical or illogical, ridicule from family or friends, lack of godly counsel, personal insecurities, or uncertainty.

Meditation on the scriptures helps solidify your belief, trust, and obedience. Here, we are focusing on John 20:24-29, 1 Samuel 1:5.10-11,14-17, and Luke 1:26-38. Reflect on these scriptures, assess your belief and trust in God, and make declarations and prayers based on your understanding.
